Hi, I'm
In my years of duty in the hospital, I was able to practice my profession, taking care of newly born babies and elderly patients. That includes giving medication, assisting them with their needs, and documentation of all procedures that I did for them.
After that, I worked as a real estate agent, where I was able to talk and deal with different people of different races in order to successfully close the deal.
Then a friend introduced me to a BPO company which they were hiring nurses, and I tried to apply and finally landed the job. As a nurse associate or a healthcare virtual
assistant, we assists Worker's Compensation insurance agents. My job was more focused on outbound calls and documentation. It also includes calling different clinics or hospitals in the U.S. if the patient has attended his or her appointment, confirming the next appointment, requesting medical records and review, requests for treatment and diagnostics done to the patient, medical summary and itemized billing. I know how to navigate EHR like Practice Fusion and Athena.
My communication skills have improved because we did outbound calls most of the
time. I'm also familiar with medical terminology. I have also experience
in EHR like Practice Fusion doing healthcare administrative task like
appointment scheduling, data entry, updating charts and insurance verification.
I believe that my experience in both patient care and customer service gave me a unique perspective and skill set. Additionally, I'm highly adaptable and able to quickly pivot when faced with unexpected challenges, which has been my asset in my previous roles. I have a track record of consistently meeting and exceeding deadlines. I believe that my extensive experience working in the hospital and real estate, and my ability to work well under pressure, make me a strong fit for this role.
