Accounting Manager

With extensive experience in financial statement preparation since 1997, I began my career at the non-government organization Oro Chamber. In 1999, I transitioned to A Brown, a real estate company, where I continued to hone my skills in financial reporting. Additionally, I have provided comprehensive bookkeeping services for condominium corporations, manpower service companies, and a travel agency, further broadening my expertise in financial management.

My experience in cost and budget began in 2011 when I was tasked with preparing financial projections for several projects, including Xavier Estates Phase 5, the Initao resort-type project, and a socialized housing project. Since then, I have learned many skills, such as calculating ratios and understanding their significance in project acceptability, as well as the time value of money in IRR calculations. In my current employment, I have gained more detailed knowledge of costs by understanding the lifecycle of constructing and selling housing units. Unlike my previous employer, which primarily used in-house financing, my current role involves projects where sales are mostly financed by the HDMF (Home Development Mutual Fund).

I managed tax compliance by overseeing the filing of returns and payments, submitting reports, and reconciling VAT and withholding taxes during annual audits. I also supervised the submission of ledgers and receipts required for transferring titles to buyers. Additionally, I was part of the team that defended the company during a mission order and liaised with the BIR on several tax audits, providing all necessary documents.
