I've been using photoshop since 2002 and that time it was inly Photoshop 5, I've witnessed the trend and the advancement of Photoshop software from 5th version up to the latest.
I use photoshop more often that any design / graphic software on the market, it helps me to make categorize each section of the design like in web design: Header, Navigation, Side Content, Main Content, Image scrollers and footer.
Photoshop allows you to extend the limit of your creativity anything you have in mind can be layout and design using photoshop.
I also use photoshop in creating animated GIF banners where I can control the speed and number of scene of a banner, also to control the number of colors use to make sure that they will pass the requirements of some advertisers on the net.
One of the best features of photoshop is manipulating image, there’s a lot of tools to use in photoshop from color adjustment, gamma correction, brightness / contrast adjustment, color adjustment, clone tool, cropping tool, paint and brush, clone stamp tool, gradient and many more.
In photoshop I can sort and group layers for archiving purposes and make it easy to fine every single element especially if you have a hundred of layer that will help you to save a lot of time. In photoshop I can customize the workspace for example to those who uses dual or triple monitor, you can set the right panel screen for the stage and the left for the tools and you can save your preference for daily use and you can also customize the keyboard shortcut whichever makes you comfortable. There’s a lot of filter effects that you can use for image manipulation, web backgrounds and text and button effects.
My expertises in design are:
-
Web UI Design - I'm not only designing beautiful and eye-catching website I also make sure that it is easy to navigate and user friendly. I also make sure that my design is easy to convert into HTML and SEO friendly.
- Landing Page Design - When designing a landing page there are some key features that I moslty focused on like, products, web forms, headline, offers and the most important is the submit button that can attract the user to register and to submit their information. Most of the landing pages that I’ve designed are cross-sell and up-sell pages that requires a very eye-catching design but should be attract the user to purchase or to buy if there’s an offer to sell.
- Email Newsletter Design - From the design perspective email design should be bold, beautiful and straight forward that may lead the user to visit the specified offer and help to increase the ROI. I also make sure that the design meets the design requirements because email design is a bit different from web design, like document width, background constraints and text usability.
- Banner Ads Design - Should be eye-catching and straight forward design. I also make sure that the design is easy to replicate in different sizes like horizontal, vertical and square banners also it should be easy to convert and animate in flash.
- Print Design - I make sure that there's no unusable space left and all information was clear as possible also all elements are positioned perfectly based on the design-heat-point where the user will get their first impression and lead them to see the whole design.
