I'm currently working as an Income Auditor at Manila Grand Opera Hotel here in the Philippines. My work requires a high level of attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently — all of which I’ve developed through daily tasks like reviewing financial reports, checking transactions, and ensuring accuracy in records.
Recently, I’ve completed hands-on training in bookkeeping, where I learned and practiced real-life processes using Xero — from setting up client accounts to reconciling bank statements and preparing financial reports.
Now, I'm looking to shift from an on-site role to a virtual position where I can apply my skills in a remote setup. I'm focused on finding a long-term opportunity where I can continue to grow, contribute to a team, and provide reliable, detail-oriented support.

I took training as a bookkeeper where we actually did the day-to-day tasks of a real bookkeeper. It was very hands-on, and we worked through a full bookkeeping process for a sample client. Here's what we did step by step: Created a Xero account for the client Set up and updated the organization settings Downloaded, reviewed, organized, and analyzed all the client files Added currencies Added bank accounts, credit cards, and payment gateways in Xero Converted PDF bank statements to CSV format (based on Xero's requirements) Uploaded the bank statements Double-checked that the statement balances matched the Xero balances Uploaded sales invoices Uploaded bills and expenses Categorized bank transactions Did bank reconciliation Prepared the Balance Sheet Prepared the Profit & Loss report The sample client we worked with had multiple bank and payment accounts, including: Currenxie USD Airwallex USD Airwallex SGD Bank of America Chase PayPal Stripe It was a great way to learn the actual workflow and tools used in real bookkeeping jobs.
