I have been an Internal Auditor for almost five years to a Motorcycle and Appliance Dealer ( Du Ek Sam, Inc.) here in the Philippines. The company I was working with has almost 85 branches located in the areas of Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao. Becoming an Auditor isn't an easy job since we have to check the accuracy of all its assets, review balances of accounts receivable and do field
confirmation to some costumers, conduct inventories to all unsold items in the branch and authenticate all reports submitted to the Head Office. After then, I was promoted as the company's first Marketing Supervisor who's responsibility was to keep track on the flow of sales and inventories of all branches. Our Department was in-charge in making marketing strategies, advertisements and promotions needed to improve sales. After almost a year in the Marketing Ddepartment, I decided to resign due to compensation reasons.
Currently, I am working in a University as an Accounting Clerk. My responsibility is to generate Tuition and Assessment Summary every semester, prepare accounting entries and make adjustments to student's ledgers, prepare for the student's statement of account and make monthly reports.
