If your books are behind, messy, or just not something you want to think about that's exactly where I come in.

I'm a freelance bookkeeper currently working with clients in the US and UK across a range of industries from an art business and pool cleaning service in the US, to e-commerce, architectural design, and a podcasting business in the UK. No two businesses are the same, and I've learned to adapt quickly to how each one operates.

For my US clients, I work in QuickBooks Online. For my UK clients, I use Xero and FreeAgent and I hold both a QuickBooks ProAdvisor and Xero Certified Advisor certification, so I'm not just familiar with these tools, I know them well.

Here's what I typically handle:
I do cleanup and catch-up bookkeeping for clients whose books have fallen behind going through unreconciled periods, fixing miscategorized transactions, building rules so things stay organized going forward, and getting everything into a state where it actually makes sense. Once the books are clean, I stay on for ongoing monthly bookkeeping: categorizing transactions, reconciling bank and credit card accounts, managing accounts payable and receivable, and preparing basic financial reports so you always know where your business stands.

I also assist with VAT return preparation and tax compliance making sure the numbers are accurate and ready when deadlines come around.

I work independently, communicate clearly, and flag issues before they become problems for you or your accountant. Whether you need a one-time cleanup or a long-term bookkeeping partner, I'm open to both.
