I am a Licensed Civil Engineer with nearly 3 years of experience at the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH), supporting bridges, school buildings, drainage systems, warehouses, and other public infrastructure projects where even small quantity discrepancies can affect procurement, scheduling, and field coordination.
Most of my day to day work involved concrete and rebar quantity takeoffs, BOQ preparation, structural drawing review, material verification, and revision checking before procurement and construction release. I regularly reviewed revised structural drawings and updated quantity takeoffs to minimize discrepancies affecting procurement and field implementation.
As construction workflows continue shifting toward digital estimating, I’ve been refining my takeoff workflow using PlanSwift and Bluebeam to improve speed, quantity verification, and drawing coordination. I’ve also been building practical experience in Revit-based estimating and BIM workflows for structural scope projects.
My current focus is structural quantity takeoffs, concrete and rebar estimation, estimating support, and remote construction workflows for structural and infrastructure projects.
Tools: AutoCAD, PlanSwift, Bluebeam, Revit, STAAD Pro, ProtaStructure, MS Excel, MS Word
Currently exploring opportunities in structural estimating, quantity takeoffs, BIM support, and remote construction workflows.
