Hi, I'm Neil. I help business owners, agencies, SaaS teams, and e-commerce teams fix, stabilize, migrate, secure, and automate their servers and web infrastructure.

I'm a Senior Infrastructure / DevOps / Platform Engineer with 15+ years of hands-on experience across Linux systems, AWS, Hetzner, DigitalOcean, Linode, Proxmox, Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible, CI/CD, monitoring, backups, DNS, SSL, WordPress, Magento, Shopify, PHP, and production support.

I am especially useful when you need someone who can step into an existing environment, understand what is wrong, clean it up, and leave it more stable and documented.

A few examples of my work:

* Led infrastructure architecture and operations for Kubernetes, Proxmox, bare-metal, GPU-enabled servers, and distributed storage environments.
* Helped migrate production servers from Germany to Norway and managed a large infrastructure environment with 40 physical servers, 40 GPUs, and around 900TB of distributed storage.
* Managed infrastructure and cloud environments for Magento/e-commerce clients, including performance tuning with Varnish, Fastly, PageCache, New Relic, Nginx, and PHP-FPM.
* Supported ---------- / Mealbooth infrastructure, including emergency recovery after malware incidents, server hardening, AWS migration, Terraform/Ansible automation, and CI/CD improvements.
* Managed WordPress and managed hosting operations for long-term clients, including DNS, SSL, Cloudflare, uptime monitoring, billing continuity, and WordPress maintenance.
* Earlier in my career, I led a loan management system deployed across 70+ banking branches and administered Sybase and Novell OES environments.
