From September 2008-March 2009, I worked as a Customer Service Representative in a call center company. We catered to mostly American customers calling in about different concerns such as billing disputes, product inquiries, tech problems among others. This was also a challenging job since you had to remain professional even if you're dealing with a LOT of irate customers. This experience helped me become more patient. Not only that, it also developed my quick thinking, flexibility, and adaptability skills. My listening and communication skills have been honed as well.
I've worked as an English tutor for 2 years (2008-2010). I teach English to Korean and Japanese students. This kind of job was challenging and yet rewarding at the same time. I had to deal with different cultures as well as language and learning barriers. It was all in a day's work for me but seeing my students improving gave me the best feeling of fulfillment. I also learned a lot about their culture, food and language.
Nowadays, since I now do freelance writing, I have discovered the fascinating world of VLOGGING, BLOGGING and PHOTOBLOGGING. I am the type of person who is very much willing to learn new things. I'm not an expert and I have a very long way to go but I feel a sense of satisfaction when I see the results of my work and the skills that I learn from it. I like to make stories and I have a keen eye for details. I'm very much inclined with anything and everything involved with making things look better and aesthetically pleasing.
