I have two years of experience in the publishing industry, having interned and worked for magazines and local newspapers. Being a traveler, I have opted and done a year's work as an assistant editor in ROAM, alocal travel magazine, immersing myself in writing, editing, managing of photo shoots & web presence and over-all concept planning of what topics, related to the concept of independent travel, will come out in print. To add to that, I was in charge of event management for two magazines (ROAM & 100) in that same year. I've also contributed work, mostly profiles of influential people, to 100, an urban lifestyle magazine; BOUNCE, a college culture magazine and CRADLE, a baby magazine.
With photography as my prime skill, I've contributed images to one of the country's top broadsheets, The Philippine Star, various online & print publications and some international commissions. I currently own, manage and curate the analog photography website, We Might Be Young.
I am knowledgeable (and still willing to learn) in blogging platforms like Wordpress & Blogspot. Knows how to work around MS Office, Adobe Photoshop and InDesign both on PC and Mac platforms, has a strong technical command of the English language, a keen sense of creativity, serious commitment to the published word, extensive travel and multi-cultural experience across Asia, can work well individually & also with groups, can prioritize tasks and manage time wisely.
