After ten years of helping my husband in managing our bakery business, I worked in my kids' school as Secretary to the School Directress, wherein aside from secretarial duties( using the pc - MS Word, Excel, power point), I wrote speeches for the Directress, yearly assisted in proof reading and editing school documents, policies, rules and regulations. After a year, aside from my office work, I taught
Business English, Journalism to Fourth Year High School Students. When my boss retired, I decided to teach full time, hence, I was given advisory classes in the Elementary - Grade Five and Six levels, teaching English ( Language, Reading), Social Studies, Music, PE, Arts, and GMRC( Good Morals and Right Conduct). Plus, mentoring as the school's News gazette adviser. In July 2006, I was recommended and introduced by the Principal and Vice President of the
Philippine Cultural High School in Manila to one of the directors of the Philippine Chinese Chamber of Commerce and
Business. After thorough interview and written examinations, I had the privilege to fly free and spent two years teaching in a Middle School in Quanzhou, Fujian Province, People's Republic of China. From
2006 to 2008, in spite of being away from my loved ones, I was able to train students prior to English Speech Competitions, and guided them, molded them to be winners. It was amazing being a judge in any Speech Competition, and did well as a substitute teacher from time to time in a Sino- Canadian school. I am not an expert but considered a techie when it comes to using the computer, since we all have to be at par with this generation. I am a constant user fan of the internet, specifically,
of facebook and yahoo since I get to communicate with people, friends and beloved ones. I hope and pray I'd be noticed by your company and to be given a chance to contribute my knowledge and skills.
