I started as a part-time worker when I was in 1st year college.
I worked as a Secretary to the Dean of Women.
My job was to meet and entertain visitors, make and type letters, and run errand for the Dean.
When I was in 4th year college, I applied as a Secretary to the Principal in a private school. I was lucky to be accepted
in the elementary department. I haven't transferred to any school or office since then.
During those days, I was often taken as a substitute for absent teachers and after four years, I was given a part-time teaching job in the elementary.
Aside from being a Principal's secretary, I also experienced being a a Music teacher and
handled the choir.
Actually, I am a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Accounting and since I had no education
units, I took
summer classes
for two years, then in the year 2000, I took the Licensure Exam for Teachers and luckily I passed.
So I because a full time teacher since then up to the present.
Aside from teaching and handing the choir, I am also the Moderator of the school paper both in elementary and high school.
It is my job to edit articles for publication.
