Profile Description

I am driven, hard working and a team player. I have an extensive background on Case Management, Intake, Staffing and Nurse QA. I do Care Coordination with Case managers from the hospital, laboratory, Doctor's Office and Skilled nursing facility. I respond to patient inquiries and upload documents in EHR. I report critical laboratory results to Doctor's Office. I review referrals coming from fax and Wellsky. I ensure to respond in a timely manner after thorough review of the case and orders. If there are missing information like insurance details or incomplete orders, I would notify the Case Manager or Social Worker handling the patient. Moreover, I also manage staffing of Nurses, Physical Therapists and Occupational Therapists. Visits are monitored and plotted correctly making sure that all visits are authorized by the insurance. If there are updated orders or client requests, the clinicians are notified immediately. If reschedule is needed, I reach out to available clinicians to fill in the slot. It is the same when I was scheduling for an imaging company. If there are available earlier slots because the patient requested a reschedule during the confimation call, I would fill it in for those patients who are on my waiting list. Calendar is managed efficiently, ensuring minimal reschedules and all slots are taken. I review visit notes, Oasis and Non-Oasis, along with Plan of Care. All these are reviewed intensively and should align to all the clinicals received. This is to ensure that the visits will be paid by the insurance.
With more than 10 years experience as a Medical Virtual Assistant with an active PH Nurse license, I have established a strong partnership with my clients through regular meetings. On top of that, I am HIPAA certified.
