Bookeeping / Tax Processing

I have worked in an asset management division of a company where my focus is book and bank reconciliation and corporate actions. I was a subject matter expert before I left the company. I excel in investigation of breaks, booking of transactions, and ultimately balancing the books. I have also experience on directly working with custodian banks to resolve reconciliation breaks and with fund managers for corporate actions, specifically for voting and shares allocation. With the tasks that I have handled, microsoft excel is the main medium to complete the tasks.

I have worked both as a part-time and full time bookkeeper focused on bank and credit card reconciliations, undeposited funds, amortization and depreciation, payroll, monthly and annual tax filing including 1099s, invoices, accounts payable and receivable, financial statements, categorization of transactions, reviewing issues with clients, and creating and updating SOPs as necessary.

As part of the end to end accounting cycle, I have mastered the processing, monitoring and reconciliation of AR.

I have worked in a Swiss Private Equity company where my focus was on their investor’s tax monitoring and filing. I prepare and review US tax forms and make sure they are up to date and accurate based on FATCA & CRS guidelines. I also engaged directly with clients to ensure timely submission of tax forms and sometimes assist them with their tax related questions. My tasks also involved processing tax returns and dividend computation for each investor.
