I am an Associate Lawyer at a reputable law firm in the Philippines. The law firm I currently work at offers a work-life balance that will allow me to take on another job. I am fluent in English and can communicate clearly and effectively. My research and writing skills have been honed by my undergraduate degree of Journalism and by my Juris Doctor Degree as well as my experience working in a law firm wherein lawyers transact and communicate directly with clients. I have experience in Corporate Law, Labor Law, Civil Law (Contract Law, Estate Law, etc.), Criminal Law, Taxation Law, and Entertainment Law. I am detail-oriented and I manage my time efficiently. I am also accustomed to meeting deadlines.
Experience: 2 - 5 years
I have always been passionate in writing. In elementary school, I joined a competition for Feature Writing under the English Category wherein I placed fourth out of the many delegates. My undergraduate degree of journalism included as daily deliverables for almost all courses, written articles on different topics. The apprenticeship required for my undergraduate curriculum allowed me to have experience working as an apprentice in one of the most well-known lifestyle and news websites in the Philippines wherein I was required to write several articles. My work experience as a legal apprentice in the Supreme Court of the Philippines as well as my current employment as a lawyer in a reputable law firm in the Philippines has allowed me to develop my writing and research skills over time. I have become particularly skilled on phrasing legal jargon into efficient and understandable written outputs as required by the Supervising Attorneys at during my apprenticeship and as required by clients of different natures and partners at the law firm where I am employed.
Experience: 5 - 10 years
I take pride in my research skills. My undergraduate degree in Journalism, my Juris Doctor degree along with the required apprenticeship, and finally my employment as an Associate Lawyer in a law firm requires tedious and quality research. These experiences have honed my research technique and dedication to always produce well-researched and well-written outputs.
Experience: 6 months - 1 year
My legal experience began when I was still in law school. Our school requires its students to undergo an apprenticeship before they can obtain the Juris Doctor Degree. Pursuant to this, I applied as an intern in the Public Attorney's Office and as a Legal Intern in the Supreme Court of the Philippines. These apprenticeship programs and my law school education prepared me with adequate legal knowledge and experience in legal services that I utilize in my current employment as an associate lawyer.
