Profile Description

I'm Upgrade to see actual info - a content marketer-for-hire, and part-time monster hunter. When I roll the dice right, anyway.  

I primarily specialize in producing content - namely blogs, articles, and web content of any assortment, niche, and genre. I also have experience having writers under my wing, assigning pieces and coordinating tasks according to parameters such as their skill sets, specializations, and deadlines. 

Having a Journalism degree with eight (8) years of student journalism on my belt also allowed me to have extensive training on news and feature articles. During my stint with the Varsitarian (the 90-year-old publication of the University of Santo Tomas in Manila, and the oldest Catholic school publication in Asia), I've gained specialization on profiles, features and content oriented to science and technology, and health and medicine. I also have experience fitting content with SEO for maximum efficiency. 

If not playing tabletop roleplaying games with peers, I geek out through contributing and editing for geek blogs. My stint allowed me to gather specialization reporting about geek events, comic books, video games, and modern pop culture. 

I also have a penchant for opinion pieces, essays, and have good public communication skills. I also have experience in proofreading and copyreading articles and academic papers.

I've been doing my work in numerous programs, particularly among the Office Suite (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Powerpoint). I also have experience using Adobe software (InDesign, Photoshop, After Effects). My work with geek blogs also made me proficient with WordPress.
