In my previous role at Rural Bank of Rizal, I reviewed loan applications submitted by branches, monitored loan accounts with lacking documents, and prepared monthly reports such as Risk Asset Review and GAP reports for compliance.
Although my previous role was not the same as a traditional online bookkeeping position, it helped me build strong attention to detail, accuracy, organization, and financial documentation skills.
To transition into online bookkeeping, I completed US Online Bookkeeping and Accounting training at MAB Online Academy, where I had hands-on training in QuickBooks Online and Xero and Paryoll. I learned bank reconciliation, transaction categorization, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and basic financial reporting. I also completed OJT at MAB Financial Consultancy Services, where I gained practical exposure to online bookkeeping tasks and cloud-based accounting tools.
