During our 30-day intensive training as Amazon Project Researchers, I gained extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in various product sourcing techniques, including Manual Sourcing, Reverse Sourcing, and Storefront Sourcing. These methods allowed me to identify profitable products by deeply analyzing various market trends and competitor strategies. I also learned to verify the legitimacy of suppliers and stores using tools like Scam Adviser and Trustpoint, as well as by examining their social media accounts. This comprehensive approach ensured that I only dealt with reputable sources, minimizing the risk of fraud or subpar products. In addition to sourcing, I became proficient in utilizing tools such as Sales App and Keepa software to identify the best deals. These tools enabled me to analyze graphs for key performance indicators like Private Label (PL) and Product Identifier (PI), track increasing offer counts, and determine the lowest buy box price. This ability to interpret complex data sets allowed me to make informed decisions that could maximize profitability. Furthermore, I optimized the use of discount vouchers to reduce costs, thereby increasing the overall margin of the products sourced. By the end of the training, I had successfully created a comprehensive database of good deals and a list of legitimate suppliers. This database will serve as a valuable resource for future sourcing activities, ensuring that I can quickly and efficiently identify profitable products and trustworthy suppliers. Overall, the training equipped me with the skills and knowledge needed to excel as an Amazon Project Researcher, making me confident in my ability to contribute effectively to any team.
