I used to write for the Philippines' nationwide broadsheet, The Manila Times, under the Lifestyle section. The job entailed me to deal with a variety of people and events. Before that, I also worked as a Marketing Officer for The Cinemanila International Film Festival. My job included communicating with foreign and local guests, as well as writing press releases, radio plugs and marketing documents. I've also written for various publications here in the Philippines such as Rogue Magazine, Mega Magazine and One Philippines.
I've also been a full-time senior web copywriter for a European web-based company and a French-owned online advertising agency, both of which taught me valuable information about Internet marketing and required me to work in a multi-cultural team. I mentored other less experienced writers, and likewise served as editor and proofreader of their work.
I am also a contributor for ClickTheCity, the Philippines' most comprehensive and feature-rich online yellow pages and lifestyle/entertainment guide. I do establishment write-ups, interviews, event coverage, artist profiles, product recommendations and such.
