I started out as a Reviewer for the aforementioned medical records review company.
Seven months into my employment, I was promoted to Editor.
After about a year,I was promoted to Proofreader.
As a Proofreader, it's my responsibility to check the accuracy of the dates and names of doctors in the medical records reviewed, the accuracy of the information and correctness of analysis of the Reviewer and the Editor.
I also check for grammar, sentence construction, and proper use of punctuation marks.
In my account, my client is a Forensic Neuropsychiatrist who does both medical cases and civil cases.
He caters to patients from various walks of life, such as Janitors, Football Players, Detention Officers, Claims Representatives, etc.
As for the civil cases, we had cases including harassment charges, sexual molestations, racial discrimination, battery, malpractice suit, and class suits against a governmental department.
