Hi! I'm Karl, a Philippines-based VA. Most VAs will tell you they can do everything. I'd rather tell you exactly where I am and let the work speak.

I'm at an honest beginner-to-intermediate level, but the difference is I've actually built things that work. I put together an automated inspection reminder system for a property rental business, built out a lead capture pipeline using ManyChat, Chatfuel and Google Sheets, and I've been designing a real estate workflow that I'm pitching to future clients. These aren't course exercises — they're solving actual problems.

I worked in IT Tech support for nearly 7 years — and I still handle technical support in my current role — so I'm not starting from scratch when it comes to understanding how systems connect. I know how to troubleshoot, I read error logs instead of panicking, and I can tell when something's a logic problem versus a tool limitation. That foundation makes picking up automation tools a lot faster.

I take full ownership of whatever I'm working on. If something breaks, I don't wait to be told — I dig in and fix it. I don't need someone checking in on me every step of the way, but I'm not too proud to ask when I'm genuinely stuck. I'd rather ask once than go quiet and deliver something wrong. I'm hungry to grow in this space and I treat every project, even small ones, as a chance to get better. I document what I build, I put in the extra time, and I come back sharper than before. I'm also currently enrolled in an AI Automation course to deepen my foundation in the field.
