I am a dedicated professional with experience in government administration, accounting, customer service, and project management. I bring a combination of public sector leadership and private sector experience, enabling me to adapt effectively to various organizational and business environments.
Before entering government service, I built a strong foundation in the private sector. I first worked as an Accounting Officer in a construction company, where I managed accounting functions from recording daily financial transactions, payroll,
to preparing monthly financial reports.
I then served as an Expense Analyst (General Accountant), reviewing Accounts Payable vouchers, preparing accounting entries, performing monthly bank reconciliations, maintaining amortization and depreciation schedules, monitoring prepaid expenses, supporting Treasury, Accounts Receivable, and Credit & Collection operations, and providing financial analysis and recommendations to management.
I also gained valuable experience in the Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) industry, where I provided customer service and client support for international accounts. This role strengthened my communication skills, customer relationship management, problem-solving abilities, and capacity to perform effectively in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
Currently, I serve as an Assistant Division Chief at a National Government Agency. In this role, I oversee programs and initiatives related to cultural affairs, education, community engagement, and organizational development. My responsibilities include project coordination, report preparation, stakeholder management, event organization, policy implementation, budget monitoring, administrative supervision, and leading a team to ensure the successful implementation of government programs and services.
While I do not yet have hands-on experience with QuickBooks or Xero, I am a fast learner who quickly adapts to new systems, software, and technologies. Throughout my career, I have consistently demonstrated the ability to learn new processes efficiently, embrace new tools, and apply them effectively to achieve organizational goals.
