I love writing as it is cathartic. That's the reason I started my personal blog in 2007, from there it is slowly evolving into an avenue for corporate advertising/marketing and [some] companies have been sending emails for me to promote their upcoming events. I am being given free invites to launchings, seminars and private movie screenings so I can write something about the experience. I'm using Blogger as my platform but I also know how to work with Wordpress. Also, I am a contributor to our corporate newsletter in my previous company.
In terms of communication skills [eg: grammar, word usage, American English vs. Filipinism], all I can say is that I have worked in an International BPO for the past 4 years and passed the rigorous trainings and received a quality service certification. Also, I have trained colleagues and company new hires. In addition, I have a Bachelors degree in Mass Communication and have a knowledge in Journalism, Advertising, Public Relations and
Creative Writing.
Furthermore, during my college internship I've worked for a city Government Official's Publication, writing press releases and
doing photo captions; I had an experience working in the Advertising Department of one of our local leading broadsheet in our country.
I am an efficient worker and is self-directed, I figure things out whenever possible [eg: I successfully self-studied video-editing in college]. I am reliable, can work under pressure, driven and is results-oriented. I want a stable job where I can contribute to your business' success.
