Profile Description
As an Operations Manager, it was very important for me to have a really good set of managerial skills. This includes the following:
1. Recruitment - since my experience was for a start up company, I actively engaged myself in recruiting the right people for a specific department.
2. Learning and Development - I was one of the first few employees and as a manager, I had to learn the job and responsibilities in every department (we started with 2 departments at that time - medical billing and remote patient monitoring). With everything new to us, I was taught with only the basics and later on I created materials and resources which can be used for future training.
3. Coaching - With only me as the manager for a small company, at that time, I do coaching for every staff in terms of performance and behavior.
