I am a graduate of the University of the Philippines (Tacloban College) with a degree in Psychology. However, my skills and experience are not limited to what is expected of a Psychology graduate. In my first year after college graduation, I functioned as a psychological assessor in a joint research program of UP, DOH and UCLA. I used testing tools like BSID II and WPPSI III. The year after that, I worked and still am working as a School Guidance Counselor in my local area. I am currently having my masteral studies in Guidance and Counseling so that I can have my license when the right time comes. My four years of work experience in the area of Psychology/Guidance and Counseling taught me a lot of skills, both technical and interpersonal. In addition to my experience in my field, I also have other skills. My English skills are excellent. I am also knowledgeable in MS applications such as Word, Excel, and Publisher. I am familiar with the use of the internet and other applications like download applications. If it should matter, I know how to drive a motorcycle. As to talents, I can say I tend to be artistic at times. I can write poems, song lyrics, and play the guitar. I can sing. I have been singing since my elementary years. I also have culinary skills, though I will not say they are very excellent. I am an organized person. Filing documents is not a problem with me. And most important of all, I am always eager to learn new things that will enlarge my professional scope, skills, and experience. I am inclined to think that teaching me, if necessary, will not be a problem.
