With my educational background as an English major and my working experiences in the corporate world, prompted me to find a way where I can share my skills.
Soon after graduating from college, I was able to work as an Executive Assistant in two different companies respectively.
When I migrated to another city, I have been working in Human Resources Department in a steel company for 15 years.
With this, I can do support and administrative jobs, public and community relations, training and education, employee relations and labor relations.
After the company closed its door on 2000, I went back to school to study Professional Education to be able to apply and to pass the Licensure Examination for Teachers.
I started teaching in a Caregiving Training center where I also passed the National Certification Level II in Caregiving.
In Caregiving center, I was handling modules on Personality Development, Canada and Its Culture, Live-in Caregiving Program, Work Ethics, International Values and Culture, Basic English and Communication at Work.
Then I was interested to study and learn Medical Transcriptionist’s job.
While I was teaching during the afternoon, I studied MT on morning sessions.
After passing the National Certification Level II on Medical Transcriptions, the school offered me to help them in their MT program and I was also able to handle MT modules on English Proficiency.
This has also given me opportunity to learn more medical terms and its usage.
Teaching for me is only part time and Keyboarding (Typing jobs), or Transcriptions is the best alternative to work at home.
Right now, still on a part time basis, the school offered me to handle modules on Related Subjects like; Keyboarding, Event Management, Office Management, Business Correspondence and Technopreneurship.
Education is a continuous process and I like also to venture working online and learn the art of it.
