Hello!
I guess this is the part where I should impress the employers with these self-centered facts that I have.
I am a 4th year nursing student here in one of the most prestigious universities in the Philippines, the University of San Carlos.
Well, I'm good a writing. I had been part of the English club from elementary to high school and eventually became the editor-in-chief of our school paper in my senior year. Now, I am part of our college's official publication. I even wrote once for our Campus Ministry.
Since high school I've handled several positions such as Treasurer, President/Leader,etc. When I stepped into college, and with experiences that I've acquired previously, much opportunities came. I became the Hall President of our Dormitory for two years straight. I was elected Block President for three consecutive years, I was discerned as Public Relations Officer of our Ministry. I was also assigned to be the head of the Documentation Committee of our Campus Ministry's Worship Concert. With all these, I could say that I have a pretty good leadership skills and that people trust me much.
Since I often speak to people to get their participation and cooperation, to close deals, and even just to convince them do some things for me, I can say that I have a good communication skills too.
I can type fast and accurately as well. I usually use Microsoft Word
2007 in writing documents such as school papers, projects, case studies, and other requirements. So, I'm quite familiar with its do's and don'ts. I also use Microsoft PowerPoint 2007 when presenting a case study. So, I could do a eye-focusing presentations, as well.
I have some foreigner friends and relatives. I am the one who always talk to them whenever they're in vacation here in the Philippines. Thus, I say that I can speak English with ease. I can also speak Tagalog and Cebuano fluently.
I also know a little bit of photography. Actually, I'm planning to buy Canon's latest DSLR, the EOS 550D, but it's
not yet released in the Philippines.
And of course, as 4th year student of BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN NURSING, I must say that I know Nursing.
