Coming from my past occupation as a customer/technical service representative I was able to gather up some personal skills that would suit future employers. I was able to understand the importance of being kind no matter how irate that person is and trying to always deal with their emotions first before going on to the actual fixing of the routers. The previous occupation I had was fixing routers. I handled calls for 8 - 12 hours a day with a 13 minute average call time for each client. This means, I had to build enough rapport for the smoothest of conversations and at the same time be very attentive to the details so that I'd get the job done on a good note.
I also had my share of writing during my college years. I wrote a handful of articles for our English subject a few years back. Not really having a formal training on writing wasn't a drawback for me because I was resourceful enough in giving out the best of what I could offer to my readers. It wasn't as witty and brain-feeding as the stuff you get to read on Reader's Digest but at the end of the day I can honestly say I was proud of my b+. This was all that mattered at that time.
