Solar NEM Interconnection Manager experience
1. Interconnection Process Management:
* Manage the entire interconnection process from application submission to final approval for the following Utility companies: PG&E, SCE, SDG&E, Ameren, CoMed, IID, TID, SMUD, MidAmerican, SIEC, and RECC.
* Address any issues encountered during the interconnection process and implement appropriate solutions, i.e received deficiencies.
* Ensure that cost letters are paid promptly, de-rating of main service breakers is scheduled, and AHJs have been contacted to release final solar projects to the utilities.
* Coordinate and validate NEM documents, such as CPG, contracts, utility bills, SO permits, CAD plans, etc.
* Prepare and send out documents for customer sign off, including CPG, NEM Agreement, Load Aggregation, ESD form and Authorization for existing equipment through PandaDoc and DocuSign.
* Make NEM payments and upload receipts to Divvy and Ramp.* Reviewed more than 2,000 accounts for the NEM 2.0 project.

2. Leadership and Mentorship:
* Lead initiatives to continuously improve interconnection processes, streamline workflows, and enhance efficiency.
* Provide training and mentor the whole NEM crew for the given tasks.
* Consolidate and check the production output of each Interconnection Specialist.

3. Stakeholder Coordination:
* Serve as the primary point of contact for utility companies, installer and managers for any issues encountered throughout the interconnection process.
* Consistently follow up and communicate with the intra team–Design, Corporate, Permitting, and Regional Managers to ensure the completion of each project.
* Call or email utility companies for updates and follow ups as needed.

4. Documentation and Reporting:
* Maintain accurate records of interconnection applications, approvals, and correspondence with utility companies.
* Prepare reports summarizing the status of interconnection projects, including key milestones, challenges, and resolutions.
* Ensure updated Salesforce/ NetSuite/ Monday accounts for each customer.
