I am currently working as
a manager for a US printer company.
My group is called the Marketing Support team composed of 12 researchers and analysts who provide support to our marketing teams in the US and in EMEA.
Prior to this role, I started with the same company as a competitive analyst doing online research on competing printer products: their specifications, prices, technology and sales channels.
A few months on the job, I was promoted to Team Lead for the Cebu Competitive Analysis team and a year after, was promoted to Manager for Marketing Support under which the Competitive Analysis team belongs.
Prior to the printer industry experience, I had 4 years of experience in the Business Process Outsourcing field specifically in customer service.
As you may know, a lot of call centers have sprung in our city and I have had the privilege of working different roles within that 4-year stint.
My roles included:
*Customer Service Representative (CSR) - addressing travel needs, plans, & changes of an online travel agency's customers through the phone.
*Quality Assurance Analyst - monitored calls and evaluated them according to the client-specified quality requirements.
*Quality Assurance Supervisor - managed a group of Quality Assurance Analysts for customer service vertical.
*Trainer - trained new hires of client specifics prior to taking on CSR role.
*Operations Supervisor - handled a team of agents who take in calls - Suprevisor, Coach, Mentor, QA Analyst and Trainer roles all rolled into one.
