While still a student, I work part-time as a bookkeeper and an assistant of an independent auditor. Even so, I managed to balance work and school. I am proficient in English, both written and oral skills, although I am better at the former. I am knowledgeable in MS Office, especially in MS Word, Excel, and Powerpoint, through which I learned more by self-studying. Photoshop is currently included in my "what-to-learn-next" list.
Being in the budget and finance committee of our College Executive Council for 3 years makes me confident about my budgeting and finance management skills. I have also participated in the recently concluded Chartered Institute of Management Accountants - Global Business Challenge 2010, wherein I (with my team) emerged one of the national finalists.
Currently, I am looking for part-time job as I needed to save more in preparation for my CPA board exam review come 2011.
“For years, I maxed out my hours, got burnt out, and the quality of my work would start to go down. I decided to take the leap, hire correctly, and now it frees up my time to focus on growing the business.”
