Duties & Responsibilities – Records Retrieval Specialist
- Verify and process medical record requests from patients, providers, and third-party offices, ensuring proper authorization and compliance with HIPAA standards.
- Retrieve patient records from electronic health systems such as Cerner, Athena One, McKesson One Content, Health Source, and CorpWeb with accuracy and efficiency.
- Manage inbound and outbound communications via platforms like RingCentral, providing clear updates and support to clients regarding record requests.
- Ensure timely delivery of medical records to healthcare providers, insurance companies, and authorized offices while maintaining strict confidentiality of Protected Health Information (PHI).
- Log and track requests in centralized systems, maintaining organized documentation for auditing and compliance purposes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline workflows and resolve discrepancies in patient data or authorization forms.
- Maintain compliance training knowledge (HIPAA, Central Intake, privacy protocols) to uphold industry standards in secure data handling.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, clarifying procedures, and ensuring client satisfaction throughout the retrieval process.
Market Researcher
- Specialise in collecting, analysing and presenting either quantitative or qualitative research.
Meet and liaise with clients to negotiate and agree research projects.
Prepare briefs and commission research.
Formulate plans or proposals to present to your client or senior management.
