Having had a good medical background as a registered nurse, I have been able to work as a medical transcriptionist for more than a year now. I have been able to transcribe consultation reports, operative reports, discharge summaries, letters and other reports as well from the different fields of medicine. As a medical transcriptionist, my core competency lies on both quantity (productivity) and quality (accuracy), providing excellent reports to the clients. Aside from working full-time as a medical transcriptionist, I have also had a part-time job as a general/legal transcriptionist online. I am very particular with turn-around time (TAT) when it comes to transcription as well as making accurate reports. I can type at a speed of 50-60 words per minute with an accuracy of 96-98% or higher. Aside from my experience in transcription, I am also proficient in both Microsoft Office and Open Office tools, as well as basic Internet use, Photo Editing, and Audio Editing.
