My work experience as Marketing Assistant and Group Secretary for an insurance organization for more than five (5) years has allowed me to develop good personal and interpersonal skills as I deal with our internal and external customers on a daily basis.
I have worked with the Fraternal Benefits Group Vice President as my immediate superior.
My tasks have included taking down minutes of various meetings conducted by the department, handling logistics of all events and sales drives (mostly system-generated sales reports), monitoring and collecting data needed by my superior, preparing departmental and consolidating the group's plans, programs and budget as well as analyze variances, and do secretarial functions for the FBG Vice President such as file maintenance, flight reservation and preparation of reports, presentation materials and communication forwarded to various departments.
I have also actively participated in ad hoc committees in support of the company's goal towards further excellence.
I have good command of the english language and I am well-versed with various computer applications such MS Office (Word, Excel and Powerpoint) and internet applications.
I have also used Adobe Photoshop and Pagemaker in the preparation of various departmental newsletters, flyers, brochures and give-away materials.
I have multitasking abilities, self-motivated, I can work without supervision and figure things out whenever possible.
