I have been responsible for overseeing the entire accounts receivable cycle, from invoicing and billing to collections and reconciliations for over 5 years. I was responsible for overseeing and managing daily accounting operations, focusing on efficient Accounts Payable (AP) management and expense control. This included monitoring vendor invoices, ensuring accurate and timely payments, maintaining vendor relationships, and optimizing expense processes. I led a team of finance professionals, providing guidance, training, and fostering team development. My role also involved constant process improvement efforts, budgeting, forecasting, and ensuring strict compliance with accounting standards and financial regulations. Throughout my tenure in a retail company, I have had the opportunity to learn and work with Microsoft Excel, including features like pivot tables, macros, and SUMIFs functions. I analyzed data effectively using pivot tables, and utilize the SUMIFS function to calculate sums based on specific criteria.
