BRIEF PROFILE - a practicing Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with accreditation to practice accountancy and auditing as accredited by the Phil. Board of Accountancy (BOA) and the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) for tax matters. Before becoming a lecturer in accounting, auditing, tax in training institutions and colleges, he held various positions in internal audit of multinational companies as Internal Audit Manager for a total work experience of fifteen (15) years as internal auditor. He was also assigned as Assistant Quality Assurance Manager in a quality assurance department in an ISO 9001:2000 environment. To update his business knowledge, he attended various trainings and seminars in International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), auditing, taxation, ISO, and management courses here and abroad. He is also familiar with various accounting softwares like SAP, Quickbooks Online, Wave, and Whiezecargo (cloud) softwares.
He earned his Accountancy degree from Saint Louis University, Baguio City, Phils. with extra-curricular awards in college and honors in elementary and high school. While working, he continued his master’s study at Rizal Technological University in Mandaluyong City, Phils. and earned a Master in Business Administration (MBA) degree in 2007.
