As Desktop Support Technician: Acts as a liaison for the department to provide client support to various public and private educational agencies as requested; researches and establishes network of information providers; creates and maintains current client mailing lists; develops correspondence related to all facets of the position including letters, memos, emails and faxes; coordinates the development, organization and maintenance of training modules for clients; researches client inquiries and new technology; trains staff and clients on using data systems; provides technical assistance. As Server Administrator: Managing and Maintaining a Microsoft Windows Server 2003 - installing, licensing, and updating windows server 2003/2008; configuring windows server 2003/2008 hardware; managing users, groups, and computers; installing and configuring TCP/IP; administering ip, security policy, Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP), Domain Name Service (DNS); Remote Access and IP Addressing and Routing; Setting Accounts, Passwords, Policies and User Rights Management; Active Directory Planning; Network Infrastructures; Client to Server Anti-Virus Deployment, Backup and Restoration of File Server/Disaster Recovery. Group Policy and Active Directory Management.
