I have been involved in data migration from mainframe to PC system in an insurance company. I have also created simple applications using Visual Basic and MS Access, and have been doing maintenance and report generation programs using COBOL400 in AS400 when I was still employed, though that was about 2 years ago. I am also quite knowledgeable in MS Word and MS Excel, as well as Powerpoint.
I have been a COBOL programmer for the longest time and not many companies need this skill anymore, and with my age, it's even harder to find a job. I need a long-term, stable job to support my family, and learn new skills as well.
