Profile Description

Despite being a Public Health graduate and a former medical student, most of my skills are geared towards technology and the Internet. I am computer savvy and quite literate with various computer programs on the Windows OS. I have worked as a Virtual Assistant at a webmaster staffing company wherein my job entailed working on various projects requiring different skills. I am proficient on both written and oral English. I have work experience in writing web content for online stores and Philippine tourism websites. I have also handled Customer Service tasks including answering calls, e-mails and live chats, and managing social networking and microblogging accounts for online stores. I also have experience in graphics design such as creating banners and logos, with intermediate skills in using The GIMP, Adobe Photoshop CS5 and Corel Paint Shop Pro X2. I also have basic skills in HTML and basic knowledge in search engine optimization, blogging and link building. I am a fast learner, resourceful, with excellent multitasking skills and can work with minimum supervision. I currently work as an Online ESL Instructor wherein I teach English to Japanese students via Skype.
