As a Dealer Development Manager, i was tasked with talking to potential dealer principals, checking on the actual location for the car dealership, discussing with them all the marketing requirements of the brand as well as making sure that their direction was in-line with that of the distributor.
Having an extensive background in sales training and marketing for the automotive industry, I was able to confidently face all these potential dealer principals and to discuss with them what they needed to do in order to push the product. Likewise, as a Dealer Development Manager for the distributor, I also assisted the new dealers in the processes of setting up their dealership. From construction work and actual layout of the offices to the hiring and training of new personnel.
Having been with the automotive industry for 20 years, and tasked with major responsibilities by the owners of the companies that I worked for.
