I worked as a customer service representative for three years.
Before I became a travel specialist for the largest online travel website, I also worked as a customer and technical service representative for a telecommunications company based in the US. I help our clients with their phone activation, phone replacements, deactivation, among others. I also help them with their concerns regarding their phone services. I've been doing that for a year.
After the telecom industry, I tried my luck as a travel specialist for Expedia. It was an awesome experience. I was able to familiarize things in the travel and hospitality industry.
For a year, I was catering regular clients. I help them book, change and cancel their flights and other reservations. I also take care of their trips whenever an airline makes a change on their schedules due to unforeseen events like hurricane or on-going political unrest in their destination.
To be able to extend our services to our clients, I really make sure to deliver all the possible solutions - I sometimes talk to airline, hotel and car rental managers just to have the client's concerns taken cared of.
I was then promoted to handle VIP accounts a year after that.
When I was still in school, I was also a national qualifier for copy reading/writing. I'm good with it. I'm keen to details when it comes to grammar and punctuation.
With these knowledge, I'm confident I can give the best service expected of me.
