Profile Description

Advertising is a vital business activity that requires planning skills, fact-gathering ability, creativity, artistic talent, and written and oral communication skills. It is important to keep executives abreast of any changes or improvements made to the overall advertising scheme of the company by the marketing department; however, when submitting reports to executives, the phrase "time is money" is quite literally true, making concise and to-the-point reports critical for effective executive time management. The skills i have are those which allow me to read an article, report, book, etc., and pull out the main points to summarize what is important in the reading. Many bosses will want to see my summary upfront. They are busy and don't have time to read a 200 page report when in a page or two, the summary can tell them all the highlights that they need to know.
Besides being able to pull these important points out of a reading, the second skill I have is the ability to write clearly and convey those points. It is also a good idea to get a dictionary or spell checker, so the appearance of my work isn't ruined by bad spelling.
