I am a newbie virtual assistant looking for home based work. I have no working experience but I am willing to learn.
I worked at a Canadian BPO company as a Verification Specialist. My job was to conduct background checks via phone interviews. I also did email correspondence and transcription of live calls.
My second job entailed more data entry work and research via internet.
Even though I don't have any experience as a virtual assistant, I believe that my previous work experiences gave me skills similar to what a virtual assistant will be doing. I am also open to learning more as I would like to do this for the long term.
