- Work with current vendors while also developing new business relationships; analyze buying patterns, manage existing inventory, track sales and returns, determine pricing and attend trade shows
- Evaluate monthly/quarterly/annual sales performance to establish future fulfillment needs
- Track trends in consumer consumption to determine which products should be sold
- Place orders and ensure inventory is properly distributed
- Research suppliers and negotiate contracts for product fulfillment processing
- Solicit promo supports from vendors to help increase brand contribution
- Conduct weekly store visits to check on the proper implementation of promos, plan-o-gram, etc.
- Ascertaining that the goods bought for the store comply with the standards of the company.
- Procuring customer feedback on the merchandise available in the store
