As Technical Support Engineer, the following are the main functions: overall overseeing the
MIS section, real time support for the users’ trouble in software, network and hardware problem. Ensures highly reliable computer systems, hardware, network operations including efficient operation of IT infrastructures, data systems by eliminating downtimes. Provides systems that would accelerate and optimized access of important information that concerns quality, documentation, and administrative tasks.
System & Network Administration
Overall overseeing of MIS Section.
Monitor computer room condition.
Local Helpdesk Support. Provides all IT services to 110 desktop computers and
2 laptops in production and office area. Install computers, servers, network, printers and other IT peripherals.
Maintenance of computer peripherals. Preventive maintenance of desktop computers, laptops, servers, printers (laserjet, deskjet, and dot matrix), and network peripherals.
Administration of Windows Servers. Monitor and updates the windows servers in PH.
Performs user administration and account management using the Active Directory of Windows operating system.
Respond to technical problems in server hardware and its application.
Creates policies for the organization, including back up/restoration and security policies and performs back up and data restoration procedures.
Perform hardware and software installation, networking, troubleshooting, peripherals and maintenance of MS Windows client PCs and Linux Operating System.
Maintain LAN, Email, Database server, application server and PC hardware peripherals.
Ensures efficient operation and highly reliable of IT infrastructure and network operations by eliminating downtimes.
Perform daily checking of the status of server.
Performs annual preventive maintenance system performance
tuning of the computers.
Application Developer
Designing and developing the database application.
Designing the database structure for an application.
Estimating storage requirements for an application.
Specifying modifications of the database structure for an application.
Provide user’s manual or system procedure for the application.
Conduct training to the user’s for the new application.
