I am registered Nurse by profession, and I've worked as a cashier/ customer assistant for 5 months and that is basically my only job related experience. But it doesn't mean that I am lack of skills. As I believe that employment background is just a single factor to develop ones skills. And in my 27 years of existence, 14 years of which being a student, 5 months working as an employee, 3 years of being a mother and my daily living experiences trained and equipped me with these skills:
speaking and writing skills, customer service and sales experience skills, strong interpersonal skills and relationship and team building skills.
And of course, aside of rendering care or nursing that what my course is all about, doing internet research, using the Microsoft office and content writing are the tasks where I'm proficient with. Computers and internet are the primary and one click away source of information, and in order to cope up and graduate from college it is almost a must to be familiar and literate to it.
Now, being an applicant, these skills that I've developed and strengthen, surely will be my strength to find a job where I can continually grow and prosper.
