Profile Description

? Install and configure oracle and MS SQL database for Major IT systems for Head Office and Backup Site in UNIX. Linux and MS Windows Operating Systems.
? Performs database upgrade, deploys patch releases and apply fixes in different IT systems in production and test environments.
? Analyze system activity and perform tailoring and fine-tuning activities to optimize IT resources.
? Manage database storage structures tablespaces, memory and parameters.
? Monitor and maintain schema objects such as tables, indexes, packages and views
? Performs database restore as required by application administrator
? Managing and testing back-up and recovery plans
? Manage database access, permission and privileges.
? Troubleshoot complex database errors and problems
? Provides technical support
for IT projects, database programmers and multimedia programmers
? Assists in capacity planning and documentation on storage systems, and does other work that may be assigned.
? Perform research, development and testing and makes necessary recommendations for efficient and better system performance.
? Manage Technical Change Request thru CA Unicenter Service Desk
? Monitors and manage database security through Database Firewall.
? Performs SAP client copy and transport request.
? Create new oracle instance in SAP ECC 6.0 and configures transport landscape.
