I've been in call center industry for more than 3 years. I've handled activation, billing, technical and retention in a telecommunication account.
Basically, I was tasked to assist customers in activating their account, guide them through their bills and process their payments over the phone. If there are some problems with their units I walk the customers through on how to troubleshoot their phone.
Most importantly, in my more than 3 years in the industry I learned how to communicate well with people over the phone by giving out the best customer service that they could get, think outside the box and can work with minimal supervision.
