In 2011, I started working as a Technical Support and Customer Service Representative in one of the most prominent BPO Companies in the Philippines. Sutherland Global Services, Inc. hired me as a Tier 1 tech support and customer service rep for a US-based telecommunication account offering 3 different services ( phone, internet and TV ) that are connected as one.
I took in calls for 2 and a half years before I got promoted as Subject Matter Expert (SME).
As an SME , I am well-trained to support and develop our valued representatives' product knowledge, communicate
and write in English at all times, be keen on the details of our work, strictly meet our deadlines for report and multitask.
I believe that I can apply these skills to any virtual assistant job which is one of the jobs that I am looking for right now. With proper guidance and training from respective employers/clients, I know I can become a rockstar VA . In addition, I can also type fast and learn fast.
I am still employed at the same BPO company yet I am looking for a part time job as my current job cannot support my well-being anymore. This will be my first time to work online but I am willing to learn and be good at it. I believe that by doing my job right, any boss would be happy with my service. I will make sure that the times that I spend working will be beneficial to my employer/client by providing quality work outputs.
I have all the resources needed for a convenient workplace. I am living in a nice quite home with my own internet connection. I can do freelance blog writing, copyright writing, virtual assistance, data entry etc.
