I graduated Bachelor of Arts major in Psychology in 1992.
I have worked as Human Resources Assistant after with a period of 10 years in one of the biggest malls in the Philippines and also in a multi-cultural company focused in advertising. I was exposed to recruitment, employee relations, compensation and benefits and the human resources information system.
After my career in Human Resources, I continued pursuing entrepreneurship and set up my own computer shop which taught me how to manage staff, exposed me to several computer applications and software.
Other exposure I had was in marketing, purchasing, photography, research, invitation making, and even computer maintenance among others.
This lasted 9 years.
While working on my business I joined the BPO industry. I started as an agent for a cable and internet account.
I was assigned as mentor to transition agents as well.
I had an opportunity to do service by communicating directions consultations to different foreign clients. While working as an agent I decided to pursue my studies at the same time. I left the BPO industry and able to reach the early retirement privileges from one of the top BPO Company in the Philippines for 5 years.
After completing my Masters Degree in Early Childhood Education I was able to receive my license to teach.
Eventually, I joined a group of therapists which practices Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and exposed myself to children with special needs.
This helped me understand them and what approach to use to help them improve and modify their behavior.
Currently, I am an assistant volunteer teacher in a preschool group in Victory Church Philippines.
Together with this task, I am also conducting tutoring services with grades 1, 4 and 5 elementary students with their English, Science, Social Studies and Computer lectures and assignments.
Other exposure for me as a licensed teacher is involving myself in a review center as a coach for Licensure Exams for Teachers (LET) to help the reviewees in their way to getting their own licenses as teachers.
All of these experiences had helped me not only my basic technical skills in verbal and written communication skills but enhanced my social behavior.
It also widened my horizons and improved my time management capabilities.
It greatly helped me in reaching out not only nationally but internationally by exposing myself to a cross-cultural environment and quickly adapt to it.
